All registered voters may cast ballots on two state questions, even if they cannot vote in a party runoff.
OKLAHOMA CITY — Early voting begins Thursday for Oklahoma’s Aug. 25 runoff primary and state question elections.
Early voting locations will be open:
- 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday
- 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday
Oklahoma’s party primaries are closed this year. Only registered Republicans may vote in Republican runoffs, and only registered Democrats may vote in Democratic runoffs.
But every voter, regardless of affiliation, has something on the ballot.
All voters, including Independents and Libertarians, may vote on State Questions 844 and 846. They also may participate in any nonpartisan elections or local propositions on their ballot without voting in a party runoff.
Voters must cast early ballots in the county where they are registered. The State Election Board has posted a list of early voting locations and a list of elections.
Sample ballots and voter registration information are available through the OK Voter Portal.
Questions may be directed to a county election board or the State Election Board at 405-521-2391 or info@elections.ok.gov.
