OK Politics Today is a news publication committed to timely, accurate reporting about Oklahoma politics and government.
Reporting, sourcing and attribution
OK Politics Today produces original reporting and curates news and reporting from other news organizations.
When another news organization’s reporting contributes materially to an article, we identify that organization and link to the source. Direct quotations are attributed, and public documents, official statements and other primary sources are identified when relevant.
Use of Technology
The managing editor is responsible for the reporting, writing and editing of every news article, checks facts and quotations against source material and makes all publication decisions.
OK Politics Today uses digital tools, including artificial intelligence, to organize and summarize source material and assist with working drafts, proofreading and editing.
Photographs and other sourced images are credited when source information is available.
Images generated or materially altered using artificial intelligence will be identified as such.
Corrections
We correct factual errors promptly and note significant corrections within the article.

Tim Allen is the managing editor of OK Politics Today, bringing nearly four decades of experience at the center of Oklahoma state government, with roles in the Legislative and Executive branches including 28 years at the State Treasurer’s Office. As Deputy State Treasurer for Communications, he worked for four treasurers from both parties — building a reputation for steady judgment, credibility and a practical understanding of how government really works. Before that, he spent years as an award-winning reporter, which still shapes how he approaches the news today.
